Setting the Default Folder for File Creation
You can specify a default folder for files created by the application. After you specify the folder, it becomes the default folder for the following activities:
- exporting data to a file
- saving export field map files
- importing files
- saving import field map files
- backing up companies
- restoring backed-up companies
To specify the default folder for file creation
- Select File/Preferences from the menu bar. The system displays the Preferences window.
- Select the Browse button to select the default folder. After you select the folder, the directory path to the folder appears in the Default Path for File Creation field.
- Select OK to close the Preferences window.
