Creating System Level Security Profiles

System-level security specifies the type of access a user has to system functions. System level security is effective across all organizations within the application. You must assign each user to a valid system security profile.

Note: To complete the steps below, you must be logged on to the system as a supervisor.

To create a system level security profile
  1. Select File/Password Security/Define Profiles/Define System Profiles from the menu bar. The system displays the Define System Profiles window.
  2. Complete the Define System Profiles window, then click OK.

Note: When no companies or organizations are open, the menus and windows display the word Company, rather than the word Organization.
