Description Field

Use this general information field in Asset Detail to enter a description of the asset, up to 80 alphanumeric characters. The system prints this description on all reports that include the description field. However, on many reports the system truncates the Description field to ten characters. Therefore, when creating a description, you might want to make the first ten characters the most descriptive.
