Which graphic file formats can I use?

The application accepts standard graphic file formats, such as:

File Type

Extension

JPEG files - most common digital camera format

.jpg

PDF files - can be opened in Adobe Reader

.pdf

GIF - popular graphic format, especially for Web images

.gif

PNG files -  common file sharing format across devices and operating systems

.png

TIFF files (uncompressed only)
most common format supported by scanners

.tif

Bitmap files - common Windows graphic format

.bmp

The file sizes of the stored images do add to the overall size of your database. You do not need to scan your images at a high resolution. We recommend using the JPEG format because of all formats, it offers the best compression.
