Bulk Edit - Fields to Edit Window

This window allows the From and To depreciation methods and/or estimated lives to be selected or entered for the Bulk Edit. Follow the guidelines provided below to complete the Bulk Edit – Fields to Edit.

Note: The From list of depreciation methods includes all depreciation methods available in Sage Fixed Assets Depreciation except for custom depreciation methods. The To list of depreciation methods does not include all depreciation methods. Click below to see the list of methods that are not available.

Depreciation Method	Check this box to enable and select the From and To depreciation methods.
From (depreciation method)	Select the down arrow to display the list of available depreciation methods. Select the depreciation method you wish to change from in the Bulk Edit.
To (depreciation method)	Select the down arrow to display the list of available depreciation methods. Select the depreciation method you wish to change to in the Bulk Edit.
Estimated Life (yymm)	Check this box to enable and enter the From and To estimated lives.
From (estimated life)	Enter the year and months of the estimated life you wish to change from in the Bulk Edit.
To (estimated life)	Enter the year and months of the estimated life you wish to change to in the Bulk Edit.
Review what will happen	A summary of changes displays for your review.

Tip: You can specify the same From and To Depreciation Method or Estimated Life when you want to limit the assets in the group that will be changed to ones with a specific current method or life.
Example: To change the Estimated Life from 15 years to 20 years for only assets that currently use the MF100 method, select MF100 as both the From and the To Depreciation Method. Enter 1500 as the From Estimated Life and 2000 as the To Estimated Life.
