Entry Options

When creating valid field entries with SmartLists, the following are the Entry Options that you can select on the SmartList Manager window:

Restrict Entry to List	Select this option button if you want to require users to enter data in a field by using an entry from the SmartList. Selecting this option disables the Auto Add Entry to List options.
Auto Add Entry to List	Select this option button if you want to allow users to make entries in the selected field that are not on the SmartList. From the drop-down list, select how you want the application to react to the user's entries.
No Auto Add	Select this option if you want to allow users to make entries in the selected field that are not on the SmartList, but you do not want the system to add those entries to the SmartList.
Confirm Auto Add	Select this option if you want to allow users to make entries in the selected field that are not on the SmartList, but you want the system to prompt the user for confirmation before adding the entry into the SmartList.
Auto Add Always	Select this option if you want to allow users make entries in the selected field that are not on the SmartList, and you also want the system to automatically add the entry into the SmartList.
