Setting Up Your Printer

The Print Setup option is a standard Windows option. It allows you to select a printer that you want to use to print asset information, asset images, and reports and to change the orientation of the printed page (portrait or landscape).

When you open the Sage Fixed Assets application the first time, the system registers your default printer from your operating system. It will automatically use your default printer if you do not select a different printer.

To setup your printer
  1. Select File/Print Setup from the menu bar. The system displays the Print Setup window.
  2. Complete the Print Setup window, then click OK.

The selected orientation on this window is the default setting for the standard Report Definition window. Once you change and save the setting on your Report Definition window, it overrides the Print Setup option for that specific report.
