Deleting Asset Transfers

For information on the best way to delete asset transfers, see Deleting Asset Transactions. To delete the transfer information, you can also delete the entire asset. Deleting the asset deletes the core System Number and all extensions of it. It does not, however, delete any transferred assets that the system created and assigned a new System Number during the partial transfer.

Caution! We do not generally recommend deleting assets because you cannot undo the deletion.
