Transferred Assets on Reports

How are transferred assets displayed on reports?

The application displays the code for a transfer in the Key Code column. The code for a standard disposal is "t."

Transferred assets continue to appear on historical reports indefinitely. (Historical reports are those reports that do not require you to enter a date when you run the report.) For time-critical reports, which require you to enter a date, transfers appear only until the end of the fiscal year in which the asset was transferred. (The same is true for disposals.)

The Transfer report displays all of the transferred assets in the company, no matter how long ago they were transferred.  However, you can run the Transfer report for only those assets transferred in the current year. To do this, you first create a group called "Current Year Transfers" in Group Manager, and then you run the Transfer report for the "Current Year Transfers" group.
