Book Title Field

The system uses this field on the Book Defaults tab to display the name of the book in the current column. You cannot edit the book title for the Tax, Internal, and ACE books because the purpose of these books is predefined. For the State, AMT, and user-defined books, you can change the title to identify your use of the book (for example, a state name).

The book titles that can be customized will be referred to by their original names throughout the Help Topics. The original book name can always be found in parentheses below the book title in the column header on the Book Defaults tab of the New or Edit Company dialogs.
